Rittenhouse Square

If you live in Philadelphia or ever visit the city of brotherly love, you’ve got to go to Rittenhouse Square.  Anyone who lives in the city knows just how important parks are, and Rittenhouse is one of Philly’s best.  One of the prettiest and greenest places downtown, all types of people from all different places gather here to soak up the sun and feel the grass between their toes.  It’s certainly one of the best places for people watching.  There also always seems to be something going on in Rittenhouse.  More than often you’ll be able to listen to some lovely live music as you relax.  Stop by the Barnes and Nobles across the street to grab a drink and a good book/mag. and let yourself enjoy all that Rittenhouse has to offer.

Location:  Corner of 18th and Walnut, Philadelphia PA

I love Rittenhouse. When I lived in Philly we’d go and read. But if you do, it’s best to laze with a Capogiro gelato (http://www.capogirogelato.com/). The shop has the best flavors.
